Absolute NIGHTMARE iPhone X swollen battery replacement
WEBAug 3, 2020 · If I can get $400 for this phone as it is now and then upgrade to a iphone 12, would you recommend this as opposed to pay to get it fixed as I assume the screen and battery will be expensive. The display assembly is about $100-$150 depending on the quality. Battery is about $20. Labor is maybe $75.

WEB13. Jul 15, 2020. #1. So my iPhone X screen has started to come off. Only about halfway though. It’s not cracked, phone still works fine except for very rarely touch losing sensitivity. Filing a claim on it is gonna run me $200 with Verizon for a new one. However, I’ve read that one of the bigger culprits of this is actually battery swelling.

I dropped my phone the other day, very lightly and it didn’t hit the floor it just fell a couple feet and bounced off of a plastic lined trash can but it cracked the screen protector. There's no 'repair' for cracks and such. And cracks are not cosmetic damage. If you live outside the US, you'll need to look AC+ cost up.
