The castle is not grand nor opulent as built in 1377. It is indeed very beautiful and interesting from a historical point of view and definitely deserves a visit. It has a creepy section dedicated to… Full review by Lehud93

Is the skip the line ticket worth it?

I can't help you with the weather in October; the twice I've been to the Castle was during summer. The walk to the castle from the carpark is a few hundred metres and once you're past the souvenir shops, the pathway does have a medium gradient. However, you can take your time walking up. The steps to the entrance of the castle are a little steep, but if there are no crowds, take your time. As for inside, places to sit and rest are few and far between, but if a portable stool is small there should be somewhere available. However, if crowded, you will be pushed along by the queue of people, with little opportunity to get out of their way.
