The Barbie Tribute Collection from Mattel showcases the contributions and immense cultural impact of women such as Moreno, who broke down the barriers for Latina actresses (including winning an Academy Award for her groundbreaking role as Anita in the 1961 musical West Side Story).

Krista Berger, senior vice president of Barbie and global head of dolls, Mattel, said in a statement that its an "honor" to have Moreno be part of the Tribute Collection — which also features the likes of Laverne Cox, Lucille Ball and more.

The doll pays homage to the Puerto-Rican born actress and advocate who is one of 21 performers to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
