Carter's political and cultural impact will be studied in a new college course coming to Yale University next year.

For the Spring 2025 semester, Yale University students will dive deep into Beyoncé’s impact as part of a special course led by professor Daphne Brooks. In a sit-down with Yale’s Daily News, Professor Brooks discussed the upcoming class titled, “Beyoncé Makes History: Black Radical Tradition History, Culture, Theory & Politics through Music.”

Yale's new Beyoncé course is part of a growing trend in which students explore the impact their favorite singers have had on society. Last year, Harvard University announced " Taylor Swift and Her World ," while the University of Florida offers "Musical Storytelling with Taylor Swift and Other Iconic Female Artists."

Many are looking forward to Yale University launching yet another pop-culture-inspired course centered on Beyonce. The institution has disclosed detailed information about what the course content will be alongside the semester when the classes will begin.

The course at Yale University is called "Beyoncé Makes History: Black Radical Tradition, Culture, Theory & Politics Through Music." The one-credit class will focus on the period from her 2013 self-titled album through this year's album "Cowboy Carter."

Yale University is set to offer a new course that will study and dissect Beyoncé ‘s impact on culture.

The course will be introduced during the forthcoming spring semester at the internationally renowned university.
