St. Louis Blues forward Dylan Holloway was taken off the ice in a stretcher during Tuesday's tilt against the Tampa Bay Lightning after a puck hit him in the throat area. Holloway could be seen receiving medical attention on the bench before the medical staff brought out the stretcher and loaded him onto it.

Dylan Holloway was struck by a puck in the neck with 1:11 left in the first period, according to Jeremey Rutherford with The Athletic. Holloway was placed on a stretcher and taken by ambulance to the hospital. The Blues said Holloway was alert and in stable condition.

The Blues won their second straight game by beating the Lightning 3-2 on Tuesday night, but lost forward Dylan Holloway, who left the game in the first period after he was hit in the right side of his head and neck region by a puck.
