Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has paid an emtoional tribute to her co-star Calum Lill as he officially left to soap. The actor joined the cast back in September 2023 as Joel Deering. The character appeared as a charming solicitor who Dee-Dee Bailey soon fell head over heels in love with.

The soap will stray from its usual 7am streaming releases for tonight's (November 15) episode, in favour of premiering it at 8pm on ITV1 so everyone can find out Joel's killer at the same time. Viewers will see Kit Green's interviews intercut with more flashback scenes from the night of Joel's death until the killer is finally unmasked.
