Deebo Samuel was projected miss multiple weeks with a calf injury that forced him out of the San Francisco 49ers game in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. But now, it’s looking like a possibility that he’ll play in Week 4 against the New England Patriots after limited practices on Thursday and Friday.

Not suiting up Sunday is safety Talanoa Hufanga who rolled his ankle in practice Thursday. Hufanga returned in Week 3 after recovering from a torn ACL in Week 11 last season. It’s unclear whether rookie Malik Mustapha or veteran George Odum will start in his stead.
