The first season of The Night Agent focused on Peter Sutherland’s work as a Night Agent in the White House. At the very end of the first season, the character, played by Gabriel Basso uncovered a conspiracy, saved the day and was offered a full time position as a Night Agent.

The second season of the show was confirmed on 29th March 2023, less than a week after it debuted on Netflix. Series creator Shawn Ryan said he "couldn't be any prouder or more excited to get cracking on season two to share the further adventures of Night Action with our newfound fans."

The Night Agent Season 2 is set for some major changes as Peter's new position sends him into international territory.

Netflix has an official synopsis for season 2: “Peter’s efforts to save the president were successful, and now he’s earned the opportunity to become a Night Agent. Working in the secretive organization Night Action in Season 2 will push Peter into a world where danger is everywhere and trust is in short supply.”

The Night Agent emerged as a solid, mid-tier sleeper hit for Netflix when it debuted, but that was…over a year and a half ago now, and fans want answers about season 2. Now we have them.
