The Kings shared positive injury updates regarding three key players Monday. Malik Monk (right ankle) was re-evaluated Monday and cleared for individual on-court workouts. He has missed the last four games after sustaining an ankle injury during the second half of Sacramento's 127-118 overtime win against the Phoenix Suns on Nov.

Malik Monk, who has missed the last four games with a moderate right ankle sprain, has been cleared for individual on-court workouts and will be reevaluated again in the coming days, the team announced Monday.

The Kings will be shorthanded once again when they wrap up a four-game homestand against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.

In their first matchup, Minnesota's Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards combined for 55 to lead the Wolves, while Sacramento had a more balanced attack, with Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan, and Keegan Murray scoring 23+ each.

The Kings missed Monk’s energy, playmaking ability and the scoring punch he provides off the bench in a 116-96 loss to the Spurs at Front Bank Center in San Antonio. Sacramento’s bench was outscored 37-21 while starters Kevin Huerter and Keegan Murray combined for only seven points on 3-of-14 shooting.
