Jasprit Bumrah has had a taste of Test captaincy when he led the Indian team in the absence of Rohit Sharma for one game. With Rohit out of the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar series, Bumrah will lead the team yet again in Perth.

If Jasprit Bumrah can take India to a 1-0 lead in Perth, it could throw Rohit Sharma's return as captain into question, implied the former Australia captain.
