Google said on Monday that it will spend $1 billion on new data centers in Thailand in another huge win for Asian Pacific countries in attracting tech work.

Google is investing 36 billion Thai baht ($1 billion) into Thailand to build a new data center and expand its cloud infrastructure, the company said Monday.
