Former Texas football coach Tom Herman has been fired as Florida Atlantic's head coach, according to multiple reports. Herman, who succeeded Willie Taggart in Boca Raton ahead of the 2023 season, went 6-16 as the head coach of the Owls. FAU went 2-8 this season and has yet to win an American Athletic Conference game.
