A 39-year-old Hastings woman killed in a collision on Interstate-494 in Dakota County early Monday was allegedly fleeing a traffic stop when she rear-ended a semi truck on the highway, according to authorities.

Littleton police officers shot a driver Tuesday morning after the driver got out of the car with a weapon during a traffic stop, police said.

Littleton police officers shot a suspect after they claimed he pointed a weapon at officers. It started with an attempted traffic stop at Belleview and Keenland Court in Littleton around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

The Littleton Police Department says officers had tried to pull the driver over at 3 a.m. at the intersection of Belleview and Keenland Court.
