Treyarch recently detailed some changes that are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Skyline map, setting a great precedent for the upcoming game.

There are good Call of Duty maps, there are forgettable Call of Duty maps, there are bad Call of Duty maps, and then there's Babylon. Set in a dusty corner of a beleaguered Iraq in 1991, Babylon is a Black Ops 6 map I find so unpleasant that it takes all my will not to insta-quit lobbies that vote for it.

Less than two weeks after the release of Black Ops 6, two maps seem to be the community's favorites: Skyline and Payback. Among those two, we would say that Skyline is the best map in the game. Since the beta days, Skyline has become a fan-favorite map due to its reduced size, the game's flow, and the map's aesthetic.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now just days away from launch, with the highly-anticipated shooter set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 25. For fans eager to jump in, Activision has confirmed that pre-loading for all supported platforms will begin on October 21 at 9 AM PT.

Even following Microsoft’s multi-billion dollar acquisition of Activision, Call of Duty has remained the most popular first-person shooter (FPS) on the market thanks to its fast-paced gameplay, immersive storytelling, and addictive co-op experiences.
