Here's where Georgia ranks in the AP top-25 after win over Tennessee
ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs have re-entered the AP top-10 after a big win on Saturday over Tennessee. UGA, now 8-2, moved up three spots in the AP rankings to No. 8. It foreshadows a rise likely to be similar for the Dawgs in the official, and more important, College Football Playoff rankings. Those will be released on Tuesday.
SEC tiebreaker scenarios after Georgia's win over Tennessee: Texas, Alabama in good shape
Tennessee Volunteers (8-2, 5-2) — Tennessee could made things much easier on the SEC office had the Vols beat Georgia on Saturday night. Instead, Tennessee is hanging on to its win over Alabama as a statement victory that could be enough to push the Vols into the playoff. Atlanta, however, is unlikely.
