As polls close across the country this Election Day and states begin counting ballots, how will you know who's winning the presidential election and how people voted?

He will take on current Vice President Kamala Harris, who was selected as the party's nominee after President Joe Biden stepped aside earlier this year. Chase Oliver and Jill Stein are also running as third party candidate's and while they are not expected to win they could pull key votes in the swing states.

DENVER — Follow along here as results come in for the 2024 presidential election between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris. Results will start to be announced after polls begin closing at 7 p.m. on the East Coast, or 5 p.m. Mountain time.

In some states, voter registration deadlines have already passed, but nearly half the states allow same-day registration on Election Day for those who still want to register and vote.
