Houston Rockets have until Oct. 21 to reach contract extensions with Alperen Şengün and Jalen Green or two become restricted free agents.

Şengün has emerged as a potential franchise player for the Rockets, averaging 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in his third season with the team. The 2021 first-round pick is on the final year of his four-year, $15.5 million rookie deal.

Alperen Sengun and the Rockets are actively discussing a possible contract extension ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season.
