WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren man was arraigned Thursday on child rape and other sex charges following his indictment this week.

A man from Northampton has been sentenced to prison after he pled guilty to more than a dozen counts of child rape and child pornography.

A Lynn man was sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison on Tuesday for raping his young stepdaughter. A jury found Ivan Santos Lula, 56, guilty on two counts of rape of a child with force, two counts of aggravated rape of a child, and three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child, the Essex County District Attorney said in a statement.

A Lynn man convicted of child rape and assault was sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison and three years probation in Salem Superior Court Tuesday, according to the office of Essex District Attorney Paul F. Tucker’s office.

Most of his victims were attacked while travelling to or from school or work, but Phakathi also targeted some in their own homes.
