The Centers for Disease Control put out a warning Sunday about a possible new E. coli outbreak found in organic carrots.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating an E. coli outbreak in at least 18 states linked to some organic carrots, which has led to at least one death.

Only one case of E. coli connected to the organic carrot outbreak has been reported in Colorado, but CDC officials said the true number of infections could be much higher.
