Here’s who Detroit Tigers will play in first round of playoffs
DETROIT – It took until the final out of the regular season, but we finally know who the Detroit Tigers will play in the wild card round of the playoffs. With Detroit’s loss and Kansas City’s win on Sunday, the Tigers fell to the final wild card spot in the American League. That means they will head to Houston to play the Astros in the first round.
The Tigers beat the White Sox on Friday night at Comerica Park to make the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
