Jalen Hurts shoulders blame for Philadelphia Eagles loss to Buccaneers: "I just have to play better"
As Hurts dropped back to pass on first-and-10 from the Buccaneers' 19-yard-line, he was stripped-sacked by Tampa Bay linebacker Lavonte David. The play essentially sealed the game for the Buccaneers in the 33-16 win over the Eagles as the Birds weren't able to get into Tampa Bay territory for the remainder of the game.

Mayfield and the Bucs' offense, meanwhile, had no such issues. He completed 12 of his first 13 passes for 138 yards as the Bucs took a 14-0 lead. Then after the Eagles made a stop on defense, Cooper DeJean fumbled a punt away. He had put up his arms to signal for a fair catch, but a Bucs player ran into him, and the referee threw a flag.
