Gov. Landry to call November special session on Louisiana tax reform
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Gov. Jeff Landry says he will call Louisiana lawmakers into a special session next month to consider major tax reform proposals. Landry says Louisiana’s current tax system is holding the state back. Louisiana also faces a looming projected $700 million budget shortfall due to the expiration of a temporary sales tax.
