PlayStation Network (PSN) users experienced a major outage on Monday night, affecting gamers using PS4, PS5, PS Vita, and older PlayStation devices. Sony confirmed the issues, which prevent players from accessing games,

The online gaming provider PlayStation Network is suffering a global outage. All services have been impacted since 2.21pm, according to the PlayStation Network status page, including account management, gaming and social, PlayStation Video and PlayStation Store.

Unfortunately, it looks as though a second outage may throw a wrench in those plans, with reports pouring in that the PlayStation Network has gone down as well. According to crowdsourced tracker DownDetector,

The PlayStation 5 and other Sony gaming platforms can’t connect right now, and there’s no word on when the problem will be fixed.

PlayStation gamers encounter widespread outages affecting multiple consoles including PS4, PS5, and PS Vita. The disruptions have led to errors in loading systems, and the PSN Service Status page confirms issues with launching games,

According to the status update page with PlayStation, "You might have difficulty signing in or creating an account for PlayStation Network. We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
