Ukraine has fired six U.S.-made ATACMS into Russia, marking the first attack using the U.S.-made long-range missiles in 1,000 days of war.

The attack comes two days after it was reported that the Biden administration had lifted restrictions on the use of the missiles against targets inside Russia.

The Biden administration has allowed Ukraine to use Army Tactical Missiles Systems, a long-range missile system that often carries cluster bombs.
